About Us
iQToys is part of the LeftBrain Group, a specialist online retailer with operations in Australia and New Zealand.
We are proud to be a family owned business with 16 years experience in online retail, having started iQ Toys way back in 1996. LeftBrain Group (and iQToys) have 20 full-time employees and during the busy Christmas rush have up to 40 staff working hard to get your orders out.
Shane Loomb, our founder and CEO is passionate about toys and as a child had a very interesting collection which included a sundial watch, sea monkeys, a microscope, slot-car sets and of course LEGO. After seeing many fabulous toys during their travels overseas that were not readily available in Australia, Shane & Suzette decided to start iQ Toys. The initial focus for iQ Toys was on high quality educational toys, but today our brand represents ‘quality’ – so whilst you will still find a good proportion of educational toys within our range, you will also find we stock the current trends – with an emphasis on quality.
