Perfect for everything, from camping to night light. It isn't super bright, but a bright enough beam for most things, and lasts all night if left on as a night light. Everyone should have a couple in their emergency kit.

Now he has a tourch that will withstand the rigours of life with a little boy, and will not go out and let him down. We purchased 3 of these torches a couple of years ago. They are a fantastic concept, however, we found that the insides twisted around and the switch didn't make contact to enable it to be turned on.
