Description

The painting depicted in this jigsaw puzzle is a scene inspired by the bombardment of Algiers in 1816, an attempt by Britain to end the slavery practices of the Dey of Algiers. This particular painting was produced in 1836 by George Chambers, Senior. Assembled size is approximately 193 x 139 cm. 9000 pieces.
