Description

Poor Ella is treated horribly by her stepmother and two bullying stepsisters, but finds comfort in her friend Buttons. Then one day, something wonderful happens!

The whole family is invited to a grand ball given by the Duchess of Arc for her handsome son. The vain stepsisters spend hours getting ready and laugh at Ella when she asks if she can go too. So poor Ella is left behind with only the cat for company. However, on this very special evening, there is more than a little magic in the air . . .

The Cinderella story was my favourite fairytale when I was a little girl so when I discovered this beautifully illustrated book based on the original Cinderella story but updated to more modern times I knew I would have to buy it for every little girl in my life and that's what I've been doing...I highly recommend this book for every little girl that loves a romantic story with a happy ending.
